It was through these connections that we came across Lawford, a brand that shares a similar mindset. Haruki, a Melbourne based Japanese customer of the store, first introduced us to the brand as a label to watch out for! Not long after, Martin caught up with his friend Konami from Mr. Brothers Cut Club in Tokyo. She mentioned dropping by a friend’s store in Ebisu that Martin should check out which turned out to be Lawford.

Lot.742 Work Jacket – 11oz. Denim
The Lot.742 Work Jacket draws inspiration from early American industrial workwear, specifically the chore and railroad jackets of the 19th century. Crafted from 11oz denim woven with pure indigo-dyed warp yarns and grey weft, the fabric offers rich character and will soften and fade beautifully with wear. Features include a stand collar, two oversized “home base” pockets, and iron donut buttons that age gracefully over time. This jacket exemplifies functional design with a distinctive visual identity.

The Lot.547 Work Trousers are inspired by the golden era of American workwear in the 1940s. During this time, utility and durability were at the forefront of design, with work trousers crafted to withstand the rigors of everyday labor. These trousers capture that spirit while offering a more refined construction. Made from 10oz cotton herringbone twill in a washed steel blue, the fabric features natural texture and subtle neps, giving it a broken-in feel from the start. With a mid-straight silhouette and a clean single side seam, these trousers offer a sharp drape. The 45mm-wide belt loops and varied lining weights pay subtle tribute to vintage manufacturing techniques, combining heritage with thoughtful design.
